This opal gemstone is referred to as an opal triplet, which has three layers; clear quartz top for protection, opal, then black onyx beneath to bring out the amazing colours of the opal. With an oxidised finish, the pendant really stands out, a very unique piece. It is a lovely everyday piece, and could make the perfect gift!
